bought a house
words leave me speechless
the world turns

boxes in attics
dustballs hiding in corners
a breeze chills the air

pink adobe home
tall bamboo and old worn trees
center of my heart

leaves flitter
fat pigeons flutter
fall arrives

rain washes away
watercolor dreams of art
yet more gloominess

do you know how much
I love who you are today
my pillar of strength

leaves rustle softly
breezes blow cool, wet, steady
fall comes so slowly

two years ago now
two towers fell to the ground
then everything changed

champagne glasses clink
a sad smile crosses your face
time is just too short

I would kill myself
if it would bring you a smile
that's the depth of love

words cannot convey
all the ways I feel today
silence is the way

train rolls down the tracks
smell of fall in the air
time of great changes

you've walked the old paths
seen the sun brighten god's face
how I envy you

slack jawed, slow moving
boredom takes a hefty bite
no energy left

ran a bright red light
feeling stupid, but cute cop!
just not a good day

you touch me right there
that place, deep inside, hidden
where love waits to bloom

I love you dearly
so far from me unknown
until our paths cross
