sunshine flittering

another damp day

making a fervent phone call
gotta call the cops

grey day, in and out
lay around and do nothing

it drizzled today
big drops splashing wildly
one fell in my eye

tri-color brightness
it's snap, crackle and popping
the fourth of July

early morning chill
scent of flowers in the air
predawn quiet time

sitting quietly
wondering 'bout tomorrow
new day is dawning
